As reported by the press office of the Holy See in a statement, as of Monday, March 10, the Community Prayer, directed every day by a different cardinal, will be advanced and will take place at the end of the eve and the meditation of 17:00 (local time).
In addition, the place where it takes place will also change: instead of the Plaza de San Pedro, it will be held in the classroom Paul VI, where the preacher of the Pontifical House, Roberto Pasolini, Capuchino Fraile and 53 -year -old Biblist, will direct for the first time the Spiritual Exercises of Lent without the presence of Pope Francis, who continues hospitalized.
Despite its absence, the retirement will be held in “spiritual communion” with him, as confirmed by the Holy See.
“According to tradition, this moment of recollection and prayer represents a time of silence and discernment for the collaborators of the Holy Father, who will meet in a spirit of reflection and listen to the Word of God, while praying for their health,” explained the Vatican.
