Thousands of young people are heading next week to the eternal city for the jubilee of young people, where they will have the opportunity to pray before the incorrupt body of Pier Giorgio Frassati and a first grade relic of the heart of Carlo Acutis.
From July 28 to August 3, Rome will be full of musical presentations, prayer vigils and special events for young pilgrims around the world. The veneration of relics – physical objects associated with the saints or with Christ himself – has been part of Christian practice since the first days of Christianity, during the apostolic era. The first degree relics, such as bones or parts of the body of a saint, are venerated as a tangible bond with the saints who intercede from heaven.

The incorrupted body of Frassati will be available for public veneration from July 26 in the Basilica of Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, located near the pantheon, starting on July 26. His grave will be open to visitors daily from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm until the morning of August 4.
