Gaby Jácoba, known for his important role in publicizing stories of faith through the International Catholic Film Festival, told ACI Press that “it is a great joy that after a great journey in the production of this film about the spiritual legacy of Carlo Acutis we can make the official and worldwide launch of the trailer of this story of conversion and transformation.”
“For us in Ave María Films it is a joy to be able to present this story of Sebastian a young man who is sunk in solitude, in sadness, in despair and knowing Carlo and his spiritual legacy undertakes a transformation trip that will lead him to a destiny of hope, faith and miracle in his own life,” he explained.
In the Docufilm, among other important figures, Antonia Salzano, the mother of Carlo Acuts, participate; Dr. Ricardo Castañón Gómez, a well -known scientist who became the Catholic faith thanks to his research on Eucharistic miracles; and the Mexican priest José Juan Montalvo, known in social networks as Father Borre.
A leading role in production has Antonio Mauri, son of the famous Mexican actor Antonio “Toño” Mauri. There are also Mons. José Ignacio Munilla, Bishop of Orihuela-Aliante (Spain) and Mons. José Gomez, Archbishop of Los Angeles (USA)
“What we want,” he said, “is that the tape touches many lives many hearts and feel touched by the love of God through very soon San Carlo Acutis, so we invite them all to enjoy it and share it in their groups, their apostolates, movements and that they add to be ambassadors of the message, of the spiritual path that left us” the future saint.
This path, Jacoba points out, has seven points: Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, the prayer of the Rosary, Confession, the reading of the Gospel, the works of mercy and devotion to the Guardian angel.
