The winner of the “Music and Faith” contest organized by the Catholic Association of Propagandists (ACdP) will be part of the cast of the Festival of the Resurrection, a macro-concert that has been celebrated on the occasion of Easter in Madrid since 2023.
The ACdP points out in a statement sent that “due to its charisma of evangelization of public life, with special dedication to the apostolate in the general field of culture” the objective of the contest is “to respond to the deep longing for God that society feels today, from a positive, current proposal rooted in Christ.”

As stipulated in its basesthe contest, whose winner will receive a prize of 3,000 euros in addition to participation in the Festival of the Resurrection that this year will be celebrated on April 26, is open to participation by groups, bands, singers, composers, orchestras, choirs and soloists , of any musical style.
Until next March 30, they will be able to present religious-themed songs in which they express their Christian faith, “in any of its multiple manifestations, styles and applications: songs of praise, adoration, supplication, or any other approach that recognizes the goodness of God’s relationship with men.
It is necessary that the songs be fully original (lyrics and music) and that they be written in Spanish or any of the co-official languages in Spain. No more than one work may be submitted per participant.
Registration for the contest is done through a form.
The jury will be made up of an “odd number of people linked to the sector of musical creation and performance, audiovisual production, audiovisual promoters, specialized journalists and university professors.”
The result of their deliberation will be announced on April 4.
