“It is better to continue asking for a soul that is already in Paradise than to assume that it is already there, depriving it of suffrages. These prayers are never lost, because if the soul to which they are addressed does not need them, God applies them to another (soul), and they always benefit the one who prays them,” indicated Saint Louis Orione.
Who is in heaven?
Here it is important to remember that sometimes it is said, colloquially, that a person who died is already resting in heaven. However, according to the tradition of the Church, only the saints and blessed are certain that they are in paradise.
