Hello Madrid is Iberia’s stopover program that allows you to make a stop of up to 10 days/9 nights in Madrid without paying any extra on the ticket, and have special benefits on reservations of hotels, transportation, excursions, museums and restaurants, among other activities in the city.
The fare is available on most routes, and to request the stopover you only have to buy a ticket that contains at least two sections with a stopover in Madrid, from/to any international destination.
“It is key that the selection of the ticket is made by choosing the stopover fare, since cannot be added as an extra after acquired. The service can be requested for both round trips and one-way trips, although if you buy a round trip, it applies to a single section,” the company explains.
Some of the benefits that Hola Madrid offers are two free days of the tourist transport card public, discounts on buses, car rentals and accommodations, and special prices on excursions, museums, palaces and monuments.

Copa Airlines
The stopover program of the Panamanian Copa Airlines is simple: the stop in Panama City is valid with any ticket (applies to all fares except promotional classes T and A and blocking or corporate classes) and can be booked for both the outward as for the return, during the reservation of the ticket (the Panama Stopover program must be included in the itinerary before issuing the reservations to avoid charges or penalties).
The stop in Panama could be a minimum of 24 hours and a maximum of 7 days, at no additional cost. A second stop (on the way back, if it was already made on the way out) is also allowed, although in that case an additional cost of US$250 plus taxes per person usually applies.
What each passenger must pay are the Panama entry and exit taxes, of approximately US$ 50 (they are automatically quoted on each ticket to which the stopover is applied). Additionally, each passenger is responsible for complying with the immigration, health and biosafety requirements for entry to Panama.

Turkish Airlines
“Passengers connecting at Istanbul airport can enrich their trip by discovering the history and culture of that fantastic city thanks to the Stopover program offered by Turkish,” they say from the Turkish company.
The program includes free hosting in one of the company’s partner hotels: Economy Class passengers are provided with one night in a four star hoteland to those traveling in Business Class, two nights in a 5 star. The condition to access free accommodation is that the scale is at least 20 hours.

Emirates
The stopover in Dubai with Emirates allows passengers to enjoy a few days in the city, which serves as the airline’s connection to any destination in the world.

Air Canada
All rates offered by the Canadian airline from Buenos Aires allow one or more stopovers in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver, both on the way to and from a flight.
The stop has no limit of days and, depending on the fare, it is free (it is included) or you pay extra: in the most expensive fares the option is included, for the cheapest ones, it costs US$ 100 for each stop.
On the service’s website there is access to different options and activities to enjoy in these cities in a few days. For example, in Toronto, to purchase tickets for the UP Express train, which connects the airport with the city, or a day trip to Niagara Falls, among other options.
Ethiopian Airlines
With connection in Addis AbabaEthiopian Airlines allows you to travel to numerous destinations in Africa, Europe and Asia, and take advantage of the stop to get to know the Ethiopian capital.
“Regarding long connections in the Addis Ababa HUB, Ethiopian offers the STPC service, which consists of one night of accommodation, transfers and meals, in addition to the visa to enter Ethiopia, all at no additional charge,” the company explains.
The service is available for Economy and Business class passengers, on all ratesalthough there are certain conditions: the connection in Addis Ababa must be between 8 and 24 hoursand both the ticket to the Ethiopian capital and the following section must be issued on the same ticket.
Vouchers are delivered at the check-in counter of the airport of origin and no prior management is necessary.
