The immersive music and the aroma of homemade food they summon visitors and diners, who savor the knife cut empanadas while it starts to heat up rotisserie campfire.

In general stores and old grocery stores, these experiences can be experienced at the festival of the Night of the Warehouses, which will take place once again in the town of Roque Pérez, after the successful editions of recent years.

The appointment will be next Saturday, January 4, when this city in the province of Buenos Aires dresses up to celebrate the 11th. edition.

But this time, the celebration will be double: not only will the most famous party in the entire RN 205 Tourist Corridor take place again, but the summer season will be launched with all its local proposals.

“The Night of the Warehouses takes up with all the energy the tradition, history, good food and local music to spend the best day in the countryside, with an event with unique characteristics,” stated its organizers.

Roque Pérez is located 130 kilometers from the City of Buenos Airesin the heart of the Buenos Aires pampas, and usually organizes this popular celebration on the first Saturday in January. What does it consist of? The rural warehouses of Roque Pérez and the surrounding area open their doors for attendees to enjoy the music and gastronomy of Buenos Aires.

The “longest night of Roque Pérez” will last until dawn on Sunday the 5th in the patios of the old grocery stores and general storeswhere the country man bought (he still does today in some cases) his merchandise.

Some of the old establishments specialize in casseroles, chopped meats and cold cuts. And none of them lack craft beer, lamb or suckling pig and the new dishes they incorporate for vegetarians and celiacs.

The proposal is completed by a barbecue area with drinks, snacks and a “General Store” with basic items to facilitate your stay.

• La Dulce Stay: 6 km from the center of Roque Pérez, on Route 205 km 145. In a 20-hectare field, the ranch has a large swimming pool. In addition to the completely restored townhouse with several rooms, La Dulce offers a guest house, an events room and two warehouses.

• Hotel Mayoral: Located in the heart of the city, it was also completely renovated and has 20 rooms with private bathrooms. It offers accommodation with breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking.
