As read in Resolution 15/2024, the Board of Directors of the National Parks Administration resolves, in article 2:

It is established that, from that day May 13, 2024in the National Parks Iguazú, Los Glaciares, Tierra del Fuego, Nahuel Huapi, Los Arrayanes, Los Alerces, Lanín, El Palmar, Talampaya, Sierra de las Quijadas and Lago Puelo, the categories and values ​​of the Rights of Access established in Annex IF-2024-42413074-APN-DNUP#APNAC, which is part of this measure.

How much does it cost to visit the National Parks?

First, it must be clarified that not all National Parks charge an entrance fee. There are several that are free and, logically, they coincide with those that have less infrastructure and fewer services.

Those that will register an increase starting May 13 are the most visited parks in Argentina.

Here, one by one, how the rate looks with the increase for Argentine residents:

  • Los Alerces National Park (Chubut): $6,000. Currently the entrance fee is $1,500.
  • Lanin National Park (Neuquén): $6,000. Currently the entrance fee is $1,500.

  • El Palmar National Park (Entre Ríos): $6,000. Currently the entrance fee is $1,500.
  • Talampaya National Park (La Rioja): $6,000. Currently the entrance fee is $1,500.
  • Sierra de las Quijadas National Park (Saint Louis): $6,000. Currently the entrance fee is $1,500. It should be noted that this park usually charges admission, but in recent months entry was free. On the official website of National Parks it still reads: “The collection of entrance tickets to the National Park is not currently in operation, so entry is free“.

Those who do not pay entry to National Parks

The “Exempt” category, meaning they can enter without paying, includes:
