The Mass Rorate It is an ancient Advent tradition that can be practiced on the Saturdays of this liturgical season.
Pope Benedict XVI commented in his autobiography that during his childhood, “during the time of Advent, early in the morning, Masses were celebrated with great solemnity Rorate in the church still in darkness, only illuminated by the light of the candles”.
