The renowned winemaker Alejandro Vigil, founder of Casa Vigil – and nicknamed the “Messi of wine” – has a new project linked to Mendoza wine.

This new location will open its doors in early 2025 with a exclusive selection of wines and a proposal for innovative haute cuisine.
“Four years ago we began to develop the idea of bringing a little piece of Mendoza to Buenos Aires, and that’s how Estancia Vigil was born,” says Alejandro Vigil, also head winemaker at Bodega Catena Zapata.
“The project is 100% related to the original Casa Vigil, with have everything we like: music, art, wine, gastronomy, vineyards in one place,” he defines.
What is the Estancia Vigil project like?

The architectural concept will be a reinterpretation of the European “patio house” style mansions.
There will be various spaces designed to offer a memorable experience.
Upon arrival, visitors will encounter The market, a typical country store that serves as a welcome place for visitors and also where you can buy wines, sausages and other products. It is also a space for tastings.
In the center of the property you can see the vineyardsan environment designed so that visitors can learn about the grape growing process.

The kitchen will be in charge of chef Diego Iratowith a lot of experience in luxury hotels in Argentina.
The menu will use local productsseasonal, with dishes that will stand out for their authenticity and their perfect harmony with the selected wines.
The restaurant will have two rooms:
- Gualtallary: restaurant with a large tasting bar. It has capacity for 90 guests
- Uco Valley: a space whose essence lies in the use of regional, seasonal products and the use of fires and clay ovens. It has capacity for 94 guests.
For a more exclusive experience, the Chef’s Table It has capacity for 8 people.
And for those who are thinking about some event, the Patio de los Hornos, the Gallery and the Garden – all outdoor spaces – are a good setting for cocktails or receptions. The capacity is very variable, from 90 to 640 people.
