What does the renewed version of the most brutal pickup on the market bring and how much does it cost?

Ford Argentina presented the renewed F-150 Raptorthe first launch of the Performance division in the country after the official announcement of its arrival in the region.

It is the most extreme and capable version of the best-selling pickup truck in the United States for the last 47 years. Conceived to overcome all types of challenges and perform in the most extreme contexts, its almost apocalyptic figure anticipates part of its qualities.

The update of this model was presented in September of last year in the United States, prior to the Detroit Auto Show, and in conjunction with the renewal of the rest of the F-150 range. Shortly after, it reached the US market.

The new F-150 Raptor retains the powerful 3.5-liter biturbo V6 engine, which delivers a power of 456 CV y 691 Nm of torque (maximum moment of force of the motor).

This direct fuel injection engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. This transmission offers manual mode, operated with paddles on the steering wheel to provide its users with an even sportier experience.

At the same time, it is equipped with an electronic management system that allows it to adapt to different terrains with seven preset driving modes: Normal, Sport, Slippery, Tow, Deep Snow/Sand, Baja, Rock Crawl, exclusive to the F-150 Raptor.

This version retains a advanced and robust suspension scheme– The rear combines a 5-link system with longer, more progressive coil springs that take this truck’s capabilities a step further and allow for greater articulation.

In turn, the high-performance FOX Racing Shox shock absorbers with technology Live-Valvemake the front suspension work intelligently, with maximized travel and hardness adjustment calibrated 500 times per second, combined with gentle compression at its ends.

In front of the driver, the complete instrument panel is a 12” digital screen that offers up to 6 markers that simulate needles, and a high possibility of customization. The sophisticated B&O brand sound system has 14 speakers including subwoofer.

This new F-150 Raptor incorporates a new type screen head-up display that is projected onto the windshield and displays information about speed, driving assistance and others safely and without having to take your eyes off the road.

The front seats have electric adjustment in up to 10 positions, with lumbar adjustment, individual hot-cold climate control and front armrest convertible into a flat table. In the rear seats, the enormous habitability is complemented by heated seats.
