Renault is one of the brands that this summer went to the Coast with activities and news for the local market. The last one to join is the new Dusterthe updated SUV that is exhibited before its official arrival in the local market.
Within the framework of the “Renault Summer Experience 2024”, the rhombus brand placed one of its public’s favorite models at its Cariló stand: the renewed compact SUV that is updated with design, safety and technology innovations.
The updated model is expected to become available in Argentina from March. It will continue to arrive imported from Colombia as before.
Among the aesthetic modifications that the new Renault Duster brings, the incorporation of LED headlights with daytime running light (DRL) for the entire range stands out.
Furthermore, there is a new taillight design and front grille now has a gloss black finish. In the top-of-the-range versions, it will add the roof bar with the Duster insignia, a new insignia that identifies the version, black rearview mirrors with orange details and 17” diamond-cut and darkened wheels.
As for the interior, a middle console with armrests is incorporated for the entire range and a new upholstery design for the top-of-the-range versions.
In terms of safety, the new edition will come equipped as standard with 6 airbags (front, side and curtain) and in the top-of-the-range versions it will incorporate a rain sensor. For the moment, it will continue without incorporating other elements of driving assistance systems.
In terms of technology and equipment, the Renault compact SUV adds 3 USB-C ports (one in the front and two in the rear) and a wireless charger for the top-of-the-range versions.
In mechanical matters there will be no changes. It will continue to offer two options for marine engines: a 1.6 liters with a power of 115 horsepower and 156 Nm of torque, and the 1.3 liter turbo, 163 horsepower and 270 Nm.
The versions with manual and automatic transmission (CVT, with continuously variable ratios) and with 4×2 and 4×4 traction systems will continue to be available.
