Inside, it maintains a fairly balanced level of equipment between safety, technology and comfort, highlighting the six airbags (two front, two side and two curtain), limited slip differential (the only one that has a differential lock is the Pro4X), multimedia system with 8″ touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear view camera, cruise control, multifunction steering wheel and manual air conditioning, among others.
Mechanically has no changes. It continues with the 2.3-liter, bi-turbo Diesel engine, which delivers a power of 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, associated with a seven-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive system.
Chronology of a “track” pickup
The first Frontier X-Gear was presented in 2020, with a concept designed for urban life and work.
It retains the diesel engine, bi-turbo, 2.3 liters of 190 horsepower. The transmission is a seven-speed automatic. On the outside, it stood out for the distinctive X-Gear bar, black roof bars, black alloy wheels and, as a novelty, a renewed multimedia system with an 8” central screen and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

In 2022, hand in hand with the launch of the new Nissan Frontier, the company also updated the X-Gear, becoming the second renewal of a version that offered a more modern and robust appearance.
