It currently has more than 900 member exorcists organized by linguistic sections, along with 130 auxiliary members who are clerics, consecrated people and lay people who assist the former on a continuous basis in matters strictly related to the exercise of this ministry.
The Spanish language section is made up of approximately one hundred exorcists and 25 assistants present in 19 countries in America, plus Equatorial Guinea (Africa) and Spain in Europe.
The IEA, as detailed on its website, “addresses itself with preferential love to those who, being in the power of the Evil One, are the poorest of the poor, in need of help, understanding, liberation and consolation.”
Consequently, it promotes the basic and continuous training of exorcists, encourages meetings between them, collaborates with local churches and promotes “correct knowledge of this ministry among the people of God,” among other purposes.
Among their activities, they carry out the fundamental course on the ministry of the exorcist in various countries, national and international congresses, meetings and conferences and the quarterly edition of the IAE Notebooks, among other activities.
