Virtual Eucharistic evening for the faithful departed

This November 1, the faithful are invited to the virtual Eucharistic Evening that the Eucharistic Communicators of the Heavenly Father have organized to worship Christ and ask for loved ones who have died.

In a note shared with ACI Prensa, the sisters indicate that it is a six-hour day of “adoration, praise, catechism and prayer for the souls in purgatory” that will begin at 7:00 pm (Colombian time) on All Saints’ Day and will culminate at 1:00 am on November 2, when the Catholic Church commemorates the faithful departed.

To this end, the day will have special guests: the Bishop of Orihuela-Alicante (Spain), Mons. José Ignacio Munilla; the priest of the Archdiocese of Medellín (Colombia), Fredy Bustamante; the doctor in Clinical Psychology and researcher of Eucharistic miracles, Ricardo Castañón; the Catholic singer Kairy Márquez; and the creator of the Manual para Enamorarse project, Ayram Edery.

In addition, “those who wish can send a photograph of a deceased loved one to the same WhatsApp number +1 (480) 612-5737 so that we can pray together for their eternal rest and accompany their memory spiritually.”

The Eucharistic Communicators of the Heavenly Father indicate that “the central axis of the evening is to reaffirm that holiness is not an ideal reserved for some, but the vocation of all the baptized.”

“No matter the age, social status or daily routine: each person is invited to aspire to Christian perfection. During this meeting, we will remember the lives of saints who knew how to listen to the will of God, and how they found in Jesus the Eucharist their most precious treasure,” they highlight.

Likewise, they explain that “by raising our prayers for the souls passing through purgatory, we join the mysterious bond of the communion of saints: we pray for them, trusting in divine mercy.”

The event will be broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Eucharistic Communicators, who encourage sharing this invitation with friends, family, parish communities and social networks, “so that together we experience a night of encounter with God, of light and hope in the midst of the memory of our deceased.”
