The Sanctuary of Fátima in Portugal is preparing to receive thousands of faithful on the international pilgrimage to celebrate the Virgin of Fátima on May 12 and 13, the 107th anniversary of the apparitions of the Mother of God in 1917.
On its website, the sanctuary points out that the largest number of registered pilgrims are Portuguese, but there are also groups from Europe, Asia and America.
This 2024, the main celebrations of the Virgin of Fátima in her sanctuary will be presided over by Cardinal Juan José Omella, Archbishop of Barcelona and former president of the Spanish Episcopal Conference.
