Vatican: Leo XIV names the third youngest bishop in Poland with 47 years

Pope Leo XIV appointed the priest Krzysztof Dukielski, 47, as a new auxiliary bishop of the Radom diocese, which becomes the third youngest bishop in Poland.

Mons. Krzysztof Dukielski was born on April 10, 1978 in Radom (Poland). He studied philosophy and theology at the Major Radom Seminar.

He was ordained a priest on May 31, 2003.

He studied Mariology at the Pontifical Theological Faculty Marianum of Rome (2004-2006) and has a graduate in theological sciences with specialization in moral theology at the Faculty of theology of the Katolicki Uniwersytet Lubelski Jana Pawła II (2013).

He has been a parish vicar in Zwoleń (2003); Parish administrator of Poggio Cinolfo in the Diocese of Avezzano, Italy (2004-2013); Deputy Director of the National Office of Organization of the World Youth Day in Krakow (2014-2016); and diocesan moderator of the Luce-Vita Movement (2017-2021).

Since 2021 he served as pastor of San Juan Bautista in Magnuszew.
