Like every January 17, on the feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot, the traditional farm came to the Vatican to celebrate the day of the co-patron of animals.
The horses, cows, donkeys, rabbits and chickens were transported by the farmers of the Association of Italian Breeders to the famous Piazza XII square, in front of St. Peter’s Square.
Cardinal Mauro Gambetti blessed the animals and some pets of the inhabitants of Rome who came to the surroundings of the Vatican.
