The project is the result of strategic partnership between Accor and Eredi Hotel Group who have already worked together at the Mercure de Rosario (4-star superior, already in operation) and the ibis Puerto San Martin (opening in 2025), both in the province of Santa Fe.
“We are deeply excited about these new projects that will allow us continue growing in the creation of first-class hotel experiences and economically strengthening the country,” said Luis Mirabelli, vice president of Development for Latin America and the Caribbean at Accor Americas, when announcing not only the construction of the Ushuaia hotel but also the pre-launch of the ibis Puerto San Martín hotelin the province of Santa Fe, which will be officially inaugurated at the beginning of 2025.
In the future, in addition to completing the construction of the ibis Ushuaia, the Eredi group plans projects in other destinations Argentines such as Bariloche and Mendoza, and in Punta del Este (Uruguay). Its goal is to reach 1,000 rooms in the next five years.
