This Saturday, Pope Francis appointed Father Reynaldo Bersabal, a priest of Filipino origin, as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Sacramento, located in the north of the state of California, in the United States.
In a statement broadcast on April 20, the Bishop of Sacramento, Bishop Jaime Soto, expressed his gratitude to Pope Francis and assured that it was “an honor” for him to have Father Bersabal in his diocese.
