The soccer team of the River Plate Foundation I travel to Madrid to play the Overcoming Cupa meeting held by the same organization that depends on the Atlético de Madrid. For the first time, twelve boys and girls traveled by plane and, in addition to playing soccer, they lived an unprecedented experience on the Old Continent.
Five years after the commemoration of the final of the Libertadores Cup played against Boca in that same city, the River Foundation arrived with a team to the Spanish capital as part of the program Values on the Court and played a match in the Wanda Sports City of Majadahonda.
The Superación Cup is a sporting event where 130 players of different ages enjoy an inclusive soccer tournament with an international presence. Through recreational and mixed soccer schools, the program fosters values and promotes healthy bonds, with soccer as a fundamental tool to unite boys, girls and families and thus contribute to greater social integration.
The boys toured the tourist spots of Madrid such as Sun Gate, Main Square o Retirement park. They also visited the Museo Legends The Home of Footballthey played friendlies with the schools River Seseña y Alameda Towers. They toured the city at night to enjoy the Christmas light decorations.
