Triduum to Saint Francis de Sales

“True and solid devotion consists of a constant, resolute, prompt and active will to execute what is known to be pleasing to God,” said Saint Francis de Sales, Patron of the Catholic press, Doctor of the Church and known as the Saint of kindness.

Saint Francis de Sales was very prone to anger, so he made great efforts to fight it in his daily life, achieving a truly admirable sweetness and kindness.

It is said that during the autopsy when he died, they found his liver hardened like a stone, perhaps the result of the strength he put into confronting his bad character.
