Every February 7, the Catholic Church remembers Blessed Pius IX, “Pío Nono”, two hundred and fifty-fifth (255th) Pope of the Catholic Church. His pontificate is considered the second longest in history with a total of 31 years, 7 months and 22 days (from June 16, 1846 to February 7, 1878).
