Today we celebrate Saint Bibiana, patron saint of those who suffer from epilepsy and severe pain. |
|
Like every December 2, today we celebrate Saint Bibiana – or, “Viviana” -, Roman virgin and martyr from the time of the Roman emperor Julian II, the Apostate (4th century). Saint Bibiana is the patron saint of epileptics and an intercessor against physical pain, especially those related to the head, and she is invoked when someone suffers from seizures. |
