“May our will and our personal and community being respond to ‘Thy will be done!’ deepens our consecration and unites us fraternally in being and in mission. All of this under the prism of our particular charisma at the service of the Church and the world, to whose wealth we must contribute with our poverty,” they encourage.
In 2023, while on his apostolic visit to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pope Francis sent a message to the representatives of Consecrated Life in the world, which was read at the beginning of the Mass, celebrated in the Basilica of Saint Mary the Mayor, by Cardinal João Braz de Aviz, prefect of the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life.
