Great Wall Motorsthe Chinese car brand that in our country is represented by the Antelo Group (Car One), presented three models that will be available in the local market from June.
These are the hybrid versions of the already known Haval H6 and Haval Jolion and the new Ora 3a compact with totally electrical propulsion. The landing of these models had been anticipated in 2024 with a coverage of Clarion.
These models They will not be reached by the 35% import tariff that pays any model that enters the country that has been manufactured in some “extra zone” market.
This benefit applies to vehicles that have a FOB price less than $ 16,000. This acronym comes from the English Free on Board and represents the value of merchandise or product on board a maritime transport. To that value then you have to add the cost of import tariffs and taxes in each country.
Three electrified proposals
Great Wall Motors (GWM) has been present in Argentina since 2018 when the Antelo Group began marketing the SUV Haval and the Pickups Wingle and Poer. It currently has a network of 18 dealers distributed in different parts of the country, which will soon be expanded with new openings in Greater Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata, Bahía Blanca, Neuquén, Catamarca, Mendoza and Rosario.
Ora 3
Designed by Emanoel Derta (former Porsche), the electric compact stands out for its futuristic retro design composed of soft lines, round headlights and an aesthetic that evokes reinterpreted classics such as the VW Beetle.
Its driving train delivers a maximum power of 126 kW (equivalent to 169 hp) and a 250 nm torque, fed by a 48 kWh LFP battery that offers an autonomy of up to even 310 kilometers (WLTP cycle) and a fast DC (direct current) charge from 10 to 80% 40 minutes.
The ORA 3 has an adjustable regeneration system, the “One Pedal” driving and multiple handling modes (Standard, Eco, Sport, Auto and Eco+). Meanwhile, the maximum speed is limited to 160 km/h, while declaing a mixed consumption of 16.7 kWh/100 km.

It has leather upholstery and electric seats, digital board and multimedia screen of 10.25 ”with Apple Carplay and Android Self -Five Wireless connectivity, 360 ° camera and front and rear USB ports.
As for security, it offers seven airbags and a package of driving assists composed of emergency autonomous braking with pedestrian and cyclists detection, braking in intersections, adaptive cruise control, maintenance and change of active lane, among the most important.
Ora 3 will be marketed from June in a single version that will cost US$ 31.000.
Haval H6 each other

The brand’s star SUV (the best selling of its segment in the Chinese market during the last 9 years), combines a 1.5 -liter gas engine of 147 hp and 230 nm with an electric one that, together, deliver a power 243 hp and 530 nm of torque. The battery capacity is 1.76 kWh.
The transmission is two -speed automatic called DHT that fulfills three functions: transmit the movement directly to the wheels, recharge the battery of the hybrid assembly and in high demand conditions, attend the combustion engine generating additional torque.
H6 HEV measures 4.68 meters long, 1.89 m. wide, 1.73 m. high, and 2.74 m. of wheelbase. The trunk’s capacity is 407 liters (up to 1,445 liters are extended by refuting the seats).

As for equipment, the 6 airbags and a complete package of advanced driving assists (ADAS) stand out. It also includes 10.25 digital instrument board, 10.25 ”or 12.3” (depending on the version), intelligent key, keyless access system and button boot, among others.
It will have two versions: H6 Hev Deluxe, available in June to US$ 33.500; and H6 Hev Supreme (Full), which will arrive in October and will cost US$ 35.500.
Jollion Pro HEV Haval

Located below H6, the SUV Jolion will also add two hybrid versions to its range: Deluxe (US $ 29,900) and Supreme (US $ 32,990).
Mechanically, the model is driven by a 94 hp thermal engine and another 154 hp electric that, according to the brand, consume on average 6.3 l/100 km in a mixed use scheme. The transmission, on the other hand, is an automatic DHT that is responsible for transferring the power to the front axle.
The Jolion Pro Hev measures 4.47 meters long, 1.90 m. wide and 1.62 m. high, with a wheelbase of 2, .70 m. and a clearing of 163 mm.
The equipment levels are similar to those of Haval H6, highlighting the six airbags and packages of driving assists in both versions.

In all cases, the guarantees for vehicles are 7 years or 150,000 kilometers, and 8 years or 150,000 kilometers for batteries.
