The students of Wheaton College were in charge this year of carrying the large banner of the March for Life, in the midst of an atmosphere of celebration and joy for participating in an event in which they are the voice of those who have no voice: the children to be born.
Trump: “We will proudly defend families and life again”
In his video message, President Trump thanked all attendees for their presence and highlighted the revocation of the ruling of Roe vs. Wade.
“In my second term we will once again proudly defend families and life,” the president stressed and added: “we will protect the historic achievements we have achieved” in the pro-life cause.
“Thank you for never losing hope and for never giving up. Thank you for your tremendous support. May God bless you and may God bless the United States,” he concluded.
Vice President JD Vance’s speech at the March for Life 2025
JD Vance, Catholic and married, was present at the march and stressed that it was an “honor” to participate in this event, which he attended with his wife and three children, “the greatest blessing of our lives.”
“I want more babies in the United States of America. I want more happy children in our country. And I want beautiful young men and women who are eager to welcome you into the world and raise you,” he shared with the crowd that followed his words attentively.
Vance also highlighted that the current administration seeks to work to generate a culture of life, helping families and protecting defenders of the right to life:
“I want to make it clear that this administration is with you, we are with you and, most importantly, we are with the most vulnerable and the basic principle that people who exercise the right to protest on behalf of the most vulnerable should never be persecuted by the government, never again.”
On January 23, President Trump signed pardons for 23 pro-life activists who were arrested for violating the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act and the “Conspiracy Against Human Rights” statute. ”, by peacefully participating in protests in front of abortion centers.
“We are happy to march for life,” he noted, adding that “it is a joy and a blessing to fight for the unborn, work for the unborn and march for life.”

Bethany Hamilton, March for Life 2025 Keynote Speaker
Former professional surfer Bethany Hamilton, who lost her left arm when she was attacked by a shark at age 13 and is now a mother of four, shared her intense experience with attendees.
“Children are a true wealth and are truly the greatest blessing that God has to offer us along with his grace,” he stated and encouraged to combat “the lies that are told every day” to pregnant women in a vulnerable state and that sometimes leads to opting for an abortion.
At the beginning of the March for Life, the Archbishop of Kansas City, Bishop Joseph Naumann, made an intense prayer so that those present would return home strong, with the determination to continue building the culture of life with “the fire of your Holy Spirit” so that they “never tire of the crusade for life whose origin is in you”.
Bishop Naumann was also the one who presided over Mass at the National Vigil for Life the night before, in which he encouraged participants to march as “pilgrims of hope, committed to building a culture of life and a civilization of love”.
