The figures were released in the 2024 edition of the collection more for less, the traditional solidarity initiative organized by the Episcopal Commission for Help to the most needy regions of the Argentine Episcopal Conference.
The final collection report, made on September 7 and 8, 2024 with the motto “To save us, we must get together and rise to us,” was published on Wednesday. The collection was $ 673,010,589.95 (approximately USD $ 540,000 US dollars).

The final figure is divided into the sum of $ 525,122,214.70 (approximately USD $ 420,000) collected by the dioceses and the remaining $ 147,888,375.25 (USD $ 120,000) obtained from direct donations arrived at the headquarters of the Argentine Episcopal Conference.
65.3% of the proceeds were destined to help the 25 most needy dioceses, in their five priorities, funds that will be applied during this year in pastoral and human and social promotion, whose detail will be announced next year.
The least needed priority dioceses received 10.3% of the collection for their projects; and the least ordinary needy received around 5.4%.
It also allocated 0.2% of the money to aid for catastrophes and emergencies that occurred in 2024, and among the extraordinary aid granted for 2024, with 2023 reserve funds, and the special aids to commissions and delegations were granted around 0.9%.
The general total distributed as of December 31, 2024 amounted to $ 557,030,000 (about USD $ 445,624 US dollars).
The Episcopall Commission reported that in each campaign there is a reserve fund for catastrophes or emergencies that may arise during the current year. A minimum amount of the reserve is also assigned for collection preparations for less 2025.
In relation to the previous year, the growth of the contributions received in 2024 was 99.68%.
Although every year, the collection is more for less strength for a particular weekend, the contributions are received at any time through different channels.
