The Spanish Borja Milans del Bosch has launched the platform 10talentos.org to offer training courses in Catholic humanist leadership based on essential respect for the dignity of the human being that has been treated in a virtuous way.
This new initiative, promoted by four laity and a priest, was born with the purpose of promoting the development of the potential and Christian leadership of people, focusing on the charisms, gifts and talents received from God, through courses in face -to -face and online format, both in Spain and in the countries that request it, especially in Latin America.

In conversation with ACI Press, Milans del Boch explains that the sense of the first of the courses is that “the world is very scrambled and we need to bring peace to our society circles, to our family circles, to our work circles.”
For this, it is necessary for the Catholic to be a peace ferment in each environment by enhancing some attitudes and values such as forgiveness, joy, closeness, help or solidarity to become a reference.
When that happens, “it doesn’t matter the hierarchy we have, no matter what position we have”, because by behaving “we can be references for many people,” summarizes Milans from the Bosch, with close to two decades of experience In this type of programs in institutions and companies from different sectors.
Thus, humanistic leadership begins to be exercised that, “especially for a condition,” says the specialist, is specifically Catholic: “considers the human being as someone worthy, who must be respected and treat him by virtue.”
On the other hand, Milans del Bosch considers that it is also characteristic of Spanish and, by extension, of the Latin American community: “proof of this is that when the Spaniards arrived at that new continent that resulted in the time to be the American continent, what we did was see those who had already lived there, the indigenous people, see them as beings with soul and dignity.”
“To the point, the leadership relationship that occurred, which the family, miscegenation, charity, which were hospitals, culture were encouraged, which were schools and universities, were encouraged, the social and administrative order, mayor, villages, regions, and fostered, of course, of course, of course, of course, of course, the Catholic faith in the missions and in the convents and in the convents and in the convents were promoted. Add.
Thus, the formative offer that begins to be proposed now “is aimed at promoting a humanistic leadership under Catholic parameters” and that somehow opposes the Anglo -Saxon model, according to Milans’ vision of the Bosch. “Humanist leadership treats and sees above all the person his dignity, his potential, the gifts and talents he has received. And, from there, he allows the person to be discovered, rediscovered, so that he is who is called to be.”
This approach also defends that “nobody can be better professional than a person”, because “however engineer he is a magnificent engineer, if in the human, a cold, calculator and reckless, he probably burns the team.” On the other hand, “if we have a person who works with confidence, with closeness, wrapping people, giving them shelter, help, development and possibility of personal growth, probably the performance is greater.”

Of all this has already spoken in the past Borja Milans del Bosch in a book entitled Be an example, little big leaders which tries to respond to a common latent yearning that the author has identified in the world of the company: need for affection, recognition and positive attitude. Among them, it emphasizes that recognition should not be understood as an assessment of merits, but as the opportunity to meet the other in each interaction, so that “I discover you in the human and I end up finding a wonder in the professional.”
In order to satisfy that triple yearning, it is necessary to put into play four metacompences: positive mentality, courage, universal human values and humility, so that if you are “a person who transmits positivity, you push with courage to get difficult situations forward, you work with values and you are a flat, humble and accessible person, tell me if you are not going to shine without being a star,” explains Milans of the Bosch.
This scheme gets a lot to re -found yourself and be your best version “, which, in the opinion of the author” is to be at the service of yourself “, when it is what it is” that you rediscover, that you take away what your true essence covers, your brightness, your potential, your capacity, your gifts, your talents. And, rediscovering you, you are going to be the one you are called to be, which is much more powerful than reinventing itself, than being your best version. ”
Prayer for priests
Borja Milans del Boch also offers oratory courses for priests. A few years ago, he experienced a very strong conversion in Medjugorje. Before that, “I went to Mass because I made it entertaining, because I spoke well and hooked on me,” he acknowledges.
Now, knowing that in the Eucharist not only looks for that, he considers that “yes it helps what the priest approaches the message very a day.”
For Milas del Bosch, “if we have the best logo in the world, which is the cross, the best promise in the world, which is eternal life, spaces and auditoriums worldwide and a brutal message that will explain to everyone, we need priests who communicate well to everyone.”
“The oratory tools are absolutely fundamental in a priest, who has to speak for all kinds of people with a very enriching message, absolutely applicable to the day to day, of the younger one to the elderly, who never goes out of style because he has never been fashionable,” he adds.
