This May 13, the Virgen de Fátima festival, Colombian Catholics will join in the center of Bogotá with the prayer of the Rosary and a procession to ask the Mother of God to intercede for the peace of the country.
The event is summoned by organizations such as Unión Familia, Rosario de Men Colombia, among others. The pastor of the Cathedral of Bogotá, Mons. Sergio Raúl Pulido, also encouraged Colombians to join this initiative.

In a note shared with ACI Press, the organizers point out that prayer and procession are intended to “cry out together for our homeland, which is going through a deep crisis of violence, uncertainty and social division.”
“The meeting will be at 6:00 pm in the Temple of San Francisco (Av. Jiménez #7-10). From there we will start a procession with candles to the Primada Cathedral, where we will consecrate the country to the sacred hearts of Jesus and Mary,” they indicate.
In that sense, Mons. Sergio Pulido encouraged “lighting hope in Colombia.” “May the Virgin Mary accompany us and we give a clear testimony,” he added.
In addition, there will be live music with Cero Station and the Montrard Musique – Camino Children’s Choir, and entry through the Jubilee Door will be carried out so that people can obtain plenary indulgence, fulfilling the requirements arranged by the Catholic Church.
In addition to the Rosary, the organizers invited people to attend with white garments, carry flags of Colombia and white candles.
