According to the newspaper The reasonthe poster is accompanied by the phrase “Make yourself the next news and mute your anger for what is happening to Muslims. Follow the footsteps of your brothers who preceded you and sowed fear in the hearts of unbelievers. ”
These threats occur just when acts are being called in some Spanish cathedrals, for example, in Madrid and Seville, to pray for the health of Pope Francis, in which a large influx of faithful is expected.
Given the threats, the OLRC has started a Signature campaign to ask the Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, to increase security in the cathedrals.
