Given the situation of uncertainty and suffering that Venezuela is going through, the pontifical foundation Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) has spread a prayer campaign to Our Lady of Coromoto, to ask for her intercession for the well-being of the country.
The initiative arises as a response to the request of the Venezuelan Episcopal Conference (CEV), which this week wrote: “Prayer is a school of hope (cf. Spe Salvi, 32)Therefore we invite you to intensify your prayer for Venezuela.”

“By praying together, we unite as a family of faith and renew our commitment to those who need it most,” says ACN. “With a Remember to the Virgin of Coromoto, you will accompany the Venezuelan people in their search for justice, dignity and freedom,” he adds.
This is the remember of Saint Bernard, addressed on this occasion to Our Lady of Coromoto, patron saint of Venezuela:
Remember,
Oh most pious, Virgin Mary!
that has never been heard of
that none of those
They have come to your protection,
imploring your help
has been abandoned from You.
Encouraged with this confidence,
I also come to You,
and I dare to implore you
despite the weight of my sins.
Oh Mother of the Word!
do not neglect my pleas,
rather, welcome them benignly.
Amen
