THE WORKSHOP: THEATRAL ROOM IN BELGRANO

THE WORKSHOP: THEATRAL ROOM IN BELGRANO

The project is located on Monroe Avenue, in Belgrano, on a 35 -meter front field that connects to the Munich passage. The program is a Theatrical room for 400 spectatorswith rehearsal room, training classrooms, scenery workshop, cargo and download parking and complementary services.

Due to the characteristics of the land, the room is high and a Lobby for exhibitions and events connected to both fronts. From this space you can access the first level where the public entrance control is located.

The plant is organized in two main bars: in one the entire part is resolved technique of the theater and in the other, more open, the most flexible program is developed, the circulations vertical and the high catwalks that finish in a large lucarna.

About av. Monroe proposes a triple height porch and a Access Plaza semi -covered prior to the entrance to the interior.

Materiality is linked to the space organization and reflects the activity that is carried out inside. For the “compact” bar concrete and masonry are used.

The other bar is more transparent in contrast to the opaque bar. The space that is created between them materializes with glass cloths that allow to see from abroad the room illuminated as the protagonist.

The project is the result of a thorough study of the technical program, circulations and space. The intention is to generate a tour and a Sensory experience that allow the spectator to begin at the time of entering the building.

The Architecture 3 course of Plan B covers from the preliminary sketch to the project. The first part is the slogan is Study a program.

There are projects that have specific requirements that must be studied and analyzed before starting their design. The theater case is one of them.

To be able to project it, they need precise data On the accesses and means of departure, the scenic techniques, the acoustics and the isoptic that guarantees good visibility, among many other elements that make up this program.

With this premise we propose to consolidate the habit of seeking information and studying the aspects that impact a project to obtain effective results and know how to interact with advisors and specialists of other disciplines.

In a second stage, synchronized with the subject materialization of projects we propose to know and experience the real project task, which requires the adjustment and definition of the parties that cannot be defined in the previous stage of anmorable.

This introduces us to a level of detail design that is hardly addressed in the academic field, but that provides essential knowledge for professional practice.
