The Uruguayan team announced its list of players called up for the Copa América and the list highlights the presence of Luis Suárez, the historic Uruguayan goalscorer who returns to the first team thanks to the call of Marcelo Bielsa, the team’s Argentine coach.
The announcement was shared on social networks through a very particular video in which different artists and figures from that country appear, saying one by one the players who will travel to the United States in search of their 16th trophy, to surpass by one to Argentina.
Suárez’s name – which the coaching staff handled with secrecy – was reserved for last and came in the voice of Emiliano Brancciari, the Argentine singer of No Te Va Gustar, the successful rock band from the River Plate.
“Very happy and proud to be part of a new Copa América! As always with the ILLUSION that represents us! GO URUGUAY GO!” he wrote the gunman in your X account.
