The initiation journey will be next August 31st. That day, the city of Villa Carlos Pazan iconic tourist destination in the province of Córdoba, will experience a day of refoundation: that Saturday will be the official opening of “Villa Carlos Paz Ciudad Gamer”.
In this popular townfamous for its location between the mountains and Lake San Roque, in the Punilla Valley, with a wide variety of hotels and a strong theatrical billboard in seasonthe public and private sectors came together in a unique project: for Villa Carlos Paz to become a cutting-edge destination in tourism and entertainment, but also to be considered an innovative center in technology, inclusion and sustainability in Latin America.
The proposal is led by BEN Group (a technological solutions holding company) and has the collaboration of the Electronic Sports and Video Games Association of Argentina (DEVA), the Municipality of Villa Carlos Paz and the local Chamber of Tourism.
On August 31, the center of the scene will be the hotel Domus Lake: there will be presented first gamified spaces.
It will be considered the first hotel establishment in the region to incorporate video game entertainment.
These spaces will have the iintervention by the artist Mario Lange that will drive the Gaming Art. Lange will invite you to explore the borders between art and technology, based on immersive experiences for video game fans.
“We are sure that this project will be a international reference in gamer cultureoffering unique and memorable experiences for all generations,” said Andrés García, president of the Villa Carlos Paz Chamber of Tourism and added: “We started with Domus Lake as a starting point but We will take these actions to other hotel locations in the city“.
Another milestone to schedule will be international tournament on September 21in which the best Counter Strike 2 players from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay.
The competition will take place at VCP Arena (It will be a arena gamer), where visitors will be able to see the super players from each of the countries live.
