The Chinese continue with their germination process in our country. The supply of models from the largest market in the world is increasing and everything indicates that it will continue to grow.
Currently there are 14 Chinese brands operating in the country through different importers and there could be more. A few weeks ago, to cite an example, Stellantis confirmed that it is studying the landing of Leapmotor, a brand specialized in electrified vehicles.
The opening of the market allowed the supply to grow in 2024. Corven, one of the leading groups in the sale and production of motorcycles, began selling a seven-seat SUV from the DFSK brand (also marketed by Chery) and has already promised new launches for 2025.
Jetour, a brand marketed by Famly Argentina (it also has the KyC Mamut urban trucks) recently presented two new SUVs, and two others that have new features are Haval and JAC.
Haval H6 GT
Haval, which in the country is represented by the Car One Group, has just added the H6 GT, the coupe-style version of the third generation of the H6. It arrives from China in a single version that costs $55,341 and shares the same mechanics as the H6.

In terms of safety, the Haval H6 GT is equipped with the same smart chip as Tesla vehicles, which has 14 radars and 5 cameras and a package of driving assistance systems such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision alert with autonomous emergency braking against cars, pedestrians and cyclists, active lane maintenance assistant, cross traffic alert (for reversing maneuvers) and assisted parking system, among others.
It also has a system that recognizes traffic signs with a 360° camera, capable of warning the driver if, for example, they exceed the permitted speed.
