Las wineries of Argentina They go into winter vacation mode and while some continue with their usual activities of tastings and visits, others add or promote attractive activities for adults and childrenattentive to a more familiar audience during these weeks.
Here we bring you a little bit of everything in this world of wine, with wine tourism proposals in the province of Mendoza and, of course, a visit to an olive oil and balsamic vinegar factory. These options are added to those we showed you a few weeks ago in this note.
1) Finca Bandini Las Compuertas (Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza)
A winery located in what was the bed of the Mendoza River and surrounded by sites of heritage valuesuch as Los Muros (you can see the structure of the old diverting locks or gates from 1922 and which served to divert water from the Mendoza River to different parts of the province) and Dos Cauces (marks the point where two channels of pure melt water).
The wine tourism proposal invites you to make a walk through the entire estatetouring the vineyards and these historical places in the province of Mendoza, with the possibility of doing it in golf cart, bicycle or horseback riding. At the end, a tasting of four wines.

2) Vistalba Winery (Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza)
After a tour of the winery and the tasting of three wines, visitors will be able to become winemakers for a day when making your own blend wine, by combining these specimens. They will also design the label. .

3) Kaiken Winery (Luján de Cuyo, Mendoza)
The experience begins with a guided tour of the vineyards, winery and cava del Ángel and continues with the creating your own wine (a blend): the adults create the wine and the kids design the label.

4) Monte Quieto Family Winery (Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo)
With a wine quest, the winery invites you to participate in a blind tasting of four wines. Players use poker chips to bet on wine characteristics such as aroma, type of grape, terroir, harvest year, descriptors.

5) Piedra Negra Winery (Los Chacayes, Uco Valley)
Two proposals. The first, a taller of blends which starts with a welcome glass of wine, wine tasting and a guided tour of the different rooms of the winery. Then, it is time to create your own wine by mixing the different wines obtained directly from tanks, amphorae and barrels.
Once prepared, it will be time to bottle it and take it home to share.
On the other hand, the blind tasting It also includes a welcome glass of wine on the winery terrace enjoying the view of the Andes mountain range. After the tour of the different production rooms, a playful, blind tasting takes place, testing all your senses.

6) Olivícola Laur and Acetaia Millán (Maipú)
Olivicola Laur is the first olive oil factory of the country and Acetaia Millán produces balsamic vinegar following the traditional Italian recipe. Both occupy the same property and share the only olive tree museum in Argentina.
The proposal is to tour the olive grove, the museum, the acetaia and the olive farm, and learn about the old and new production methods. And then taste different olive oils and vinegars, as well as pastas and olive sauces.

7) Agostino House (Maipú)
40 minutes from the City of Mendoza, a hotel experience with 11 suites and a country and gastronomic house that fuses environment, architecture and vineyards.
The establishment is surrounded by 300 hectares of gardens, organic gardencellar, swimming pool and vineyards with more than six decades of history.

8) Alfa Crux (Pampa del Cepillo, Uco Valley)
A unique landscape and the Andes Mountains as a setting. Together with the guides, visitors who come to the Alfa Crux winery can tour the vineyards, the winery – the work of architect Eliana Bórmida -, taste their wines and enjoy exquisite cuisine.
At Crux Cocina, chef Edward Holloway offers a step menu inspired by this terroir and that accompanies Alfa Crux wines. The restaurant also organizes a cycle of music with artists of the province, in the barrel room, the Cathedral of Wines: an incredible experience thanks to spectacular acoustics.
9) Rosell Boher Lodge (Alto Agrelo)
With a great view of the Andes Mountains and 45 km from Mendoza capital, this lodge has a Guest House, a luxury Master Suite, and 11 Private Villas with jacuzzi and fireplace on their terraces.
They are restaurant was the winner of the award for Best Winery Restaurant in the World 2020 and the Gold award in Sustainable Practices from the Great Wine Capitals.
