The Secretary of the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development, Sr. Alessandra Smerilli visited the areas affected by floods this week in the diocese of Tulancingo, in central Mexico, bringing Pope Leo XIV’s message of closeness, prayer and hope to communities that have suffered serious material and human losses.
During her tour, the Italian nun met with families who lost everything due to the rains, as well as with priests, nuns and volunteers who work in humanitarian assistance and in the reconstruction of homes.
