The new Peugeot 208 is now on sale: versions and prices

Peugeot launched the sale of the new Peugeot 208the national compact that updated its design, its range of versions and introduced a new engine-box assembly.

With more than 100,000 units sold and more than 200,000 units produced at the El Palomar plant since its debut in 2020, the renewed compact is currently the second best-selling model on the market behind the Fiat Cronos.

For its marketing, the brand offers financing up to $5,500,000 with a 0% rate for 12 months and a UVA option, also for 12 months and a 0% rate, with a maximum amount of $18,000,000.

It also has different savings plan options applicable to the Allure variant with manual or automatic transmission: one is the 80/20 Plus Plan 84 months with 80/20 modality with agreed allocation in quota 3, 6 and 12 with the contribution of an extraordinary rate (30%). The value of the current subscription fee is $213,442.22.

What is the new Peugeot 208 like?

Aesthetically, the model adopts the appearance of its European counterpart. The most important changes are in the front part where it has new headlights, grille (larger and with the new brand logo), bumpers and LED daytime running lights; now in triplicate.

On the mechanical side, the novelty is the introduction of the T200 engine that is already used in other models of the Stellantis group such as the Fiat Pulse and the Citroën C3 Aircross.

It is the 120-horsepower, three-cylinder, 1.0 turbo gasoline engine that is associated with a new 7-speed CVT (continuous ratio) automatic transmission.

At the same time, the range maintains the already known 1.6 with 115 horsepower that can be accompanied by a fifth-speed manual gearbox or a six-speed automatic.
