Ford introduced the Ranger Blacka new version that adds to the range of its pickup manufactured at the General Pacheco plant.
This new variant, the ninth in the family, is distinguished by incorporating exclusive aesthetic details outside and inside, as well as greater equipment.
Mechanically it is offered with the smaller engine and manual transmissionl; a distinctive feature since in almost all cases these versions are based on the mid-high or full range variants.
It is now available in the official dealer network at a suggested price of $48.632.000making it the fourth most economical variant in the range.
Ranger Black X-ray
The new Ranger Black is powered by the 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine that delivers a power of 170 horses and a maximum torque of 405 Nm, coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox and 4×4 traction system with reduction gear, with 4×2, 4×4 high and 4×4 low options.
In addition, it offers electronic descent control, rear differential lock to optimize off-road performance and a terrain management system with 3 driving modes: Normal, Economy and Slippery.
Aesthetically, the Ford Ranger Black has distinctive details such as an aerodynamic San Antonio bar (with functional rails), black side steps, mirror housings, grille and rear bumper (they are sensors) in dark gray, and headlights with LED technology.
At the same time, it has 18 inch dark wheels and new design, which wear All Terrain tires measuring 255/65 R18.
In the cabin, the dark touch appears in the newly designed upholstery that combines eco-leather and fabric, in the center armrest, in the headliner and in the appliqués on the instrument panel.
In terms of technology, the SYNC 4 multimedia system stands out with a 10” central touch screen and wireless connectivity for Android phones (Android Auto) and iOS (Apple Car Play), the wireless cell phone charger and four USB ports (two type A and two type C).
Finally, like the rest of the range, it offers the connectivity system as standard and free of charge. Ford Passa technology that allows customers to remotely operate multiple vehicle commands, including door locking and unlocking, horn and light alerts, and access to real-time information about the vehicle’s range, odometer and location. In addition, it allows you to monitor the general condition of the vehicle with specific alerts.
Additionally, FordPass makes the 360 Guide available to customers and the possibility of scheduling a service appointment 100% digitally. In addition, the customer may request the free pick-up and delivery service, to perform the services without leaving their home or workplace (free of charge for distances of up to 15 km from the after-sales service).
