The shield of Pope Leo XIV reproduced with flowers, already looks in the Vatican gardens, in front of the Palace of the Vatican State, on the slope oriented towards the apse of the Basilica of San Pedro.
According to The Vatican State informsthe workers who take care of and maintain the gardens have used hundreds of plants of different colors until the mosaic that can be admired by the faithful that rise to the dome of San Pedro can be completed.

The work occupied the efforts of the members of the Garden and Environment Service of the Vatican Infrastructure and Services Directorate for two weeks, in which two workers per day have been taken.
The common parts with the shield of Pope Francis, singularly the miter and the crosswasheds of gold and silver of San Pedro, have been maintained using Buxus sempervirenspumila variety, Aureus y Helichrysum italicum.
The red color of the cords that unite the keys is reproduced thanks to the use of two floors, according to the station: Iresine shinein summer, and Viola cuckoldin winter.
The Leo XIV shield is cool (divided diagonally from right to left and from top to bottom). The upper partition has a blue background in which a white lily, symbols of the purity of the Virgin and the Marian devotion of the Pontiff is inserted.
“To reproduce the blue color, 400 slopes from Ageratum Blue Star of Pope Francis’s Coat of Arms were recovered. The lily was created with 50 seedlings of Helichrysum italicum reproduced by cuttings, ”details the Vatican State.
The lower partition of the shield is dedicated to the condition of Augustine of Pope Leo XIV, since on a clear background it is seen, in red, the heart crossed by an arrow on a book of the order of St. Augustine. To configure it, plants have been used Begonia Semperflorens Night life (bottom) e Iresine lindenii (heart).
To reproduce the book, the collaboration of the Department of Herrería del Vaticano was necessary, which shapes a sheet in whose interior specimens of Lapilli Rojo.
