In preparation for the Canonization of Frassati, the Catholic Action in Italy organized a press conference on Thursday to present the figure of Pier Giorgio Frassati, a young mountain lover.
“There is an extraordinary news in the beauty of Turin’s boy, which, we can say, lived a holy life in all aspects,” said the president of the association, Giuseppe Notarstefano, when he opened the meeting.
“The young Italian has shown that you can take care of friendships, practice sports and have fun, but at the same time deepen the prayer and devote himself to the poorest, doing it discreetly, with ecclesial dedication,” he said.
