Italian motorcycling is in mourning the death of the pilot and youtuber Luca Salvadoriwho died at the age of 32 in an accident the day before during an international Road Racing championship race in Frohburg, Germany.
“He left us pursuing his passion”reads a statement issued by the family of Salvadori, a native of Milan.
The text published by Salvadori’s parents on social networks explains that “yesterday, during an IRRC race in Germany, Luca suffered a fatal accident“.
The parents, who expressed their “pain”, received condolences from the current two-time Italian MotoGP world champion, Francesco Bagnaia, from his Spanish colleagues Jorge Martín and Marc Marquez and from the Frenchman Fabio Quartararo.
Former Italian drivers Loris Capirossi and Max Biagg also expressed their condolences to Salvadori’s parents.
His father, Maurizio Salvadori, founded the Trident Agency, which later became Trident Music and dealt with artists such as Jovanotti, Baby Gang, Laura Pausini and Gianni Morandi.
“We cling to Maurizio Salvadori, dear friend and our first manager, in a terrible moment like the loss of a child,” the Poohs wrote on social media.
“A child is a blessed gift and all of us, as parents, cannot stop clinging to Maurizio, in silence, with respect for the pain, for this tragedy that extinguished the smile of a wonderful child and excited for life,” completes the message on social networks.
“Without words,” Bagnaia published, while Martín chose “Rest in peace Luca” and the Yamaha and Aprilia teams also expressed their condolences to Salvadori’s family.
