Within the framework of its summer actions in Cariló, where among other things it presents the sixth generation of the successful CR-VHonda Motor Argentina surprised by announcing that it has already begun manufacturing a new motorcycle at its Campana plant.

Navi is the ninth model that the company produces in the country and is part of the investment of 15 million dollars announced in the middle of the year to increase its production and localization of national auto parts.
Urban, light and with a groundbreaking design, the Navi will be the pioneer of a new category in the country. His concept combines the comfort and ease of handling of a scooter with the dynamic behavior and performance of a motorcycle.
The Dax of the 21st century
Due to its innovative style, tiny size, low weight and low consumption, it may be associated with the iconic Dax. However, although the prices will be informed at the time of commercial launch, the brand announced that it will have a very competitive value and that it will be one of the models more economical Of the brand.
Currently, the Wave 110 It is Honda’s cheapest motorcycle. It costs $1,250,000 and has been the number one seller in the local market for years.
“The idea is that the new Navi is an accessible motorcycle. We are talking about a price segment very similar to the Honda Wave,” said Víctor Pruvost, commercial manager of Honda Argentina, in a press conference.
In the United States, the Navi is part of the segment they call “minimoto.” Among these models, the brand new nationally assembled motorcycle is the most economical of all, with a price of $1,807. In fact, it is cheaper than any other product in the range on that market.
From Honda they reported that the model has a good percentage of integration of national parts (the figure was not specified), and that will increase over time.
Its incorporation involved adding an additional production line at the Campana plant, and as it will be a model that will generate sales volume, they anticipate that this year’s production will increase from 105,000 to 120,000 units.
The Navi has a 4-stroke engine (110 cc.) fed by a carburetor, which delivers a power of 8 HP and can travel about 100 kilometers with two liters of gasoline. The transmission is automatic (V-Matic).
It measures 1,805 mm long, 785 mm wide and 1,039 mm high, with a wheelbase of 1,286 mm and a seat height of 765 mm. While it only weighs 101 kilos.
The featured safety equipment includes the Combined Brake System (CBS), mandatory as of January 1 of this year.
For several years Honda has been the brand that produces and sells the most in the Argentine market. In 2023, it manufactured 105,000 units (22.3% share) and had three models within the top 10 sales: Wave 110 (1°), GLH 150 (7°) y XR 150L (8°).
