Next Saturday, October 26, the fourth edition of “First Mile Pilar”a benefit competition in which collector models from brands such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Jaguar and Aston Martin, among others, will participate.
Organized by the Villa Astolfi Association (AVA), this regularity race will take place at the Martindale Country Club in Pilar, province of Buenos Aires, and will bring together around 50 collection units.
The event, open exclusively to members of Martindale and other institutions such as the Club de Autos Sport (CAS) and the Mustang Club, takes place in a month of great activity for collector cars. A few weeks ago, the 22nd edition of Autoclásica, the Classic Park, took place and the XXI Historical Argentine Grand Prix is currently being held, a competition that commemorates the 120 years of the Argentine Automobile Club.
First Mile Pilar aims to raise funds which will be used to invest in educational technology, literacy programs, and the maintenance of community projects in Villa Astolfi-Manzone, Pilar district.
It is worth remembering that in the first three editions, funds were raised to build infrastructure and support the school program of both communities.
In First Mile Pilar 2024 there will be several activities. The main one will be the regularity race, which will consist of 12 timed stages; There will also be an exhibition of classic and sports cars, where a group of juries will award the best vehicle.
