The ANSeS has the resources to compensate retirees for the effects of the adjustment. The issue of the loss of purchasing power of retirement assets is not mentioned and that increases uncertainty in a sector that has always been a variable of adjustment, and a victim of the apathy of the governments in power.
I must add that the ANSeS has a Pension System Predictability Fund of billions of pesos. Backed by securities and shares convertible into pesos, the total of which should be used to update retirement assets in emergencies such as the one currently affecting retirees.
For this reason, ANSeS has the resources to compensate for the effects of the adjustment. Any compensatory increase would not depend on the monetary issue, but on the disposition of those funds that are property of the retirees, given that their origin is pension withholdings from salaries and employer contributions to the Social Security system.
Therefore, for this situation, “There is no money” does not apply, and the new Government should refrain from using said fund as a guarantee for new external credits to dollarize the economy.
According to President Javier Milei, the adjustment must be paid for by politics.

Voices, complaints and waits of retirees
The Minister of Economy announced the first measures of the new Government that do not contemplate salary adjustments for retirees and pensioners.
These are very strongly affected by high inflation and until the end of March 2024 they would not receive any update.
It would be fair for a bill to update these assets to be presented and approved as soon as possible in the Extraordinary Sessions of Congress.

An increase in patents and ABL is announced, with a value similar to inflation. This would be immoral, since they have been increasing even in a pandemic, when in that circumstance no other taxes or fees increased.
The citizens of CABA are fed up with the abuses of the previous government and its Legislature. Those of us of the elderly, many retirees, are violated in our rights when carrying out procedures such as the driver’s license, where we are treated with terrible impunity, I say this because I was the object of it.
Points are deducted from the scoring for paying fines that violate Law 24,449 and we even did so voluntarily, even without having received or seen a notification of the violation. An act of authoritarianism, and if one complains, no one does anything.
I hope that the national and CABA authorities that took office on December 10 review these abuses. At the same time, they should be cautious in the face of a people where 70% are below the poverty line and whom they have humiliated and intend to humiliate mercilessly.

I remember that, dressed as a candidate, Sergio Massa had started his campaign with what he knew or knows how to do well: lie about his opponents or sow fear in people.
As in the case of PAMI, he stated that if the opposition won, social work would disappear while, at the same time, this year he had adjusted the State’s numbers at the expense of retirees.
Can we define this leader? Of course. Dr. Sergio Massa was and is the worst in politics. Without convictions or principles, not even a single political idea that could represent him in his position as former Minister of Economy.

The uncertainty that retirees once again suffer is worrying, it is irrational and inadmissible that they have to wait for their situation to continue, as unfair as it has been happening in recent years by the governments in power with a semi-annual increase system that never had related to inflation that doubled their income, deceiving them with miserable and immoral bonds, which were never useful for anything.
A new government has begun that we must all support, but hoping that they do not continue making mistakes in harming people who have really worked a lifetime, paying their pension contributions accordingly.
Deserving older people like our elders do not deserve to be groped and given punishments that shorten their lives.
As an ordinary citizen, it bothers me to hear politicians who think that people live longer now, I don’t understand what they want to imply, they don’t have or had parents or grandparents. I hope for urgent rationalization of those who must decide the situation and that for them retirees are not weak and according to the current situation, in order to live moderately better, they are assigned a reasonable figure to start collecting at least $350,000 per month, which is the most feasible now. In the month of February it will be very poor.
I hope they put an end to the bonuses once and for all and lying promises, free medicines, trips, loans, knowing that with what they are receiving they can barely live a week.

Pay attention to the monthly increases made by prepaid companies, which are increasingly onerous, surpassing in percentage terms what we receive from retirement increases. It would be important for PAMI discounts to cover these gaps.
It is a considerable sum and PAMI never uses it, except for vaccines. Retirees from social works with a prepaid system are allowed to cover their costs with those amounts.
