According to a press release sent to ACI Prensa, for Sebastián Caicedo, who voices Pedro, being in the movie was ““An honor and pleasure that goes beyond acting is being part of a legacy full of faith and hope, where I am sure it will touch millions of hearts to know the love of Jesus.” Caicedo is recognized for series such as The Lord of the heavens y The Chema.

The film is directed by renowned animators Tom Bancroft (Beauty and the beast, The Lion King) y John J. Schafer (Superlibro), has the animation direction of Tony Bancroft (Mulan, Mary Poppins Returns) and has been produced by Salvation Poem Project.
“It has been a tremendous blessing to be a part of telling the story of Jesus through the eyes of one of his disciples,” said Tom Bancroft. “Using 2D animation to convey this narrative promises to evoke nostalgia while also offering a fresh and exciting experience.”
The film can now be seen in Costa Rica, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and Peru. It will arrive in Chile on October 30, while in Brazil and Uruguay it will premiere on December 11. For now, Venezuela and Argentina are on hold.

Brennan McPherson, producer of the film, declared in an interview with CNA—the English agency of EWTN News, a company of which ACI Prensa is a part—that with this film It seeks to “show how the Gospel changed the life of a boy and how it can continue to change our lives today.”
