The 0 km cars set another record: this time They surpassed the $20 million barrier. This is indicated by the August price lists, in which only two models (one new and a utility vehicle) are below that figure.
The price jump between July and August was slight, although in some models, such as the Toyota Yaris, there were spikes of up to 4.5%. The Japanese automaker’s compact was the most economical option on the market until last month, a position it lost after the return of the Fiat Mobi.
The stability of prices, added to the availability of units, promotions and financing options by automotive companies, allowed patents in July to have a clear recovery compared to those in June.
The increase was 38,8% although the figures are still lower in the year-on-year comparison, which, in the accumulated January-July period, registered 19.1% less than in 2023.
Among the 10 cheapest models on the market, compact cars predominate (5 doors and sedans), but there are also utility vehicles.
