The Spanish justice has rejected for the third time to apply euthanasia to a 23 -year -old girl who suffers from a mental illness and for whose life her father fights with the help of the Spanish Christian Lawyers Foundation.
In the decree of the Contentious-Administrative Court number 12 of Barcelona, the appeal raised by the Catalan regional administration is dismissed on behalf of the guarantee and evaluation commission, an autonomous body created to supervise the legality of these procedures the approval of the Euthanasia Law in 2021.

It is also recalled that “the precautionary measures will be in force until the final sentence falls to the procedure in which they have been agreed,” according to the regulatory law of the contentious-administrative jurisdiction.
The death caused was initially scheduled for August 2, 2024 and was paralyzed according to the precautionary measures requested by Christian lawyers, in the name of the 24 -year -old parent, understanding that in the case the requirement that the requesting person “must be able to make decisions freely, consciously and informed” is not met.
