Carla Restoy, renowned Spanish Catholic speaker and influencer, will offer several free talks in parishes in Ecuador, where she is invited by EWTN to talk about the “myths of the body, the soul and love.”
At 29 years old, Restoy “has become an unusual reference in a world increasingly distant from the transcendent. She grew up in a non-Christian environment, but discovered God in her teens thanks to an experience: a back operation that forced her to slow down her pace of life and look inward,” says a note shared by the organization with ACI Prensa.

“He achieved notoriety after sharing his story of encounter with God and his commitment to truth and beauty from the Catholic faith on his Instagram account @carlarestoy. He has become a leading voice for young Catholicism in Europe and Latin America,” he adds.
In statements to ACI Prensa – an agency that is part of EWTN News – Carla says she is “super happy to arrive in Guayaquil for the first time with EWTN” and in that Ecuadorian city she will share “beautiful things that enrich our hearts.” “I am very excited to be in Ecuador for the first time,” he adds.
Restoy, who participates in debates in the media, speaking about topics such as virginity or abortion, also comments that his work “is not about imposing a vision, but about showing that believing has meaning and transforms life.”.
The talks he will offer, in which there will be a space for dialogue with attendees, are titled “Dismantling myths: what they never told you about the body, the soul and love”
The first will be on Tuesday, October 28 at the San Josemaría Escrivá Church at 8:00 pm; the second on October 29 at the Santa Teresita Parish, from 7:45 pm; and the third on October 30 at the María Reina Church, from 8:00 pm
